The
Mentoring Program is about building a partnership between mentor and mentee that
provides a forum to enhance self-worth, share ideas to build a successful
organizing business and support the learning process.
Purpose Statement:
§To provide a means of
communication with new and potential organizers
§To increase the
knowledge base and general awareness of best practices in the organizing industry
§To promote and provide
effective training for new and potential organizers
§To establish the norms
for professionalism, collaboration and continuous personal development
Judith Kirk, owner of
Organizing Resources, is a member of the National Association of
Professional Organizers and the National Golden Circle Chair. She is a
founding member of the Connecticut Chapter of NAPO and held various board
positions. Throughout the years, Judith has learned how to establish, develop
and grow an organizing business. She would like to share her knowledge with
new organizers.
"What I appreciate the most about Judith is her calm, guiding
presence. She gently points you in the right direction while
letting you go at your own pace. You never have to worry
about doing something you don't want to do, but at the same
time you know she knows the way and all you have to do is
follow her." Wendy Ronitz Baker, Practically Organized wronitz@practicallyorganized.com
Mentoring accelerates the mentee’s growth process by the sharing of experiences
and wisdom. The mentoring program creates professional organizers with greater
self-confidence and a willingness to embrace responsibility and take informed,
calculated risks to grow their business.
